Collected donations need to be sorted, counted, bagged and labelled clearly to indicate the number and type of products.
We ask that you put 25 packets in each bag and use black garbage bags for for sanitary and incontinence pads.
Please note: There will be times that you cannot fit 25 packs of incontinence pads into one black bag. You may use any other colour bag for other products such as tampons, menstrual cups, and period undies. This allows for quick and convenient management of the product when delivering to a charity or a Share the Dignity storage shed.
Once completed please log into Volunteer to mark your activity as Complete and update your Inventory with the quantity of donated products:
Step 1- Log into Volunteer Me: https://sharethedignity.azurewebsites.net/
Step 2- Your landing page should automatically show 'Find Activities' for you. You can then click on the 'My Activities' tile. (Otherwise, please click on the pink 'menu' button on the top right hand side of the screen, then click the 'Activities' tile).
Step 3- Scroll the list to find the Activity you need to log the donations for (your current activities should appear at the top of the list), and click on it.
Step 4- Now click on the pink 'Complete PickUp' button.
Step 5 - Record the items you have collected and click on ‘submit’. If you did not collect a product type, please record it as zero. Similarly, if you completed the Activity and did not collect any donations, please ensure you still complete the Activity this way.
Step 6- You have now logged your donations successfully. Your Inventory will now be updated to reflect the donations you have recorded.
Step 7- If you have signed up for multiple Activities, please complete steps 2- 6 for each Activity.
Towards the end of the drive more information will be posted in Workplace regarding delivery of items to local charities - an Announcement post on Workplace will let you know when Delivery Activities are ready for selection. For now hold onto the items an await further instruction.
