We try to make sure the charities have as much time as possible to lodge their requests so Delivery Activities will become available at a later date to Set UP or Pick Up Activities.

During the campaign, there will be an Announcement in Workplace letting volunteers know when Delivery activities are open and ready for volunteers to allocate themselves to a charity delivery.

Once Delivery activities are live please:

Step 1- Log into Volunteer Me : https://sharethedignity.azurewebsites.net/
Step 2 - Click on the pink 'Menu' button on the top right hand side of your screen, then click on the 'Deliveries' tile.

Step 3 - A list of Deliveries available deliveries in your area will display by default. You can also search by charity name, suburb, post code etc. When searching by a word or number- the results will list any Delivery that contains that word or number e.g. ACT may bring up the charity 'Act for Kids' and deliveries in suburbs in the ACT.

Please note: only available Deliveries will appear. If all Deliveries have been allocated or signed up to, they will not appear in your search. As requests will likely still be submitted throughout the month, it is worthwhile re-checking at a later stage if you can’t find a delivery initially- as this is updated in real time as requests are received.

Step 4 - Once you have located a Delivery you want to sign up for, click on the name and then the pink 'Sign Up!' button.

Step 5 - Indicate the date you think you will be able to complete the delivery. Please note, the charity partner who made the request cannot see what proposed date you select.

Step 6 - Answer the Terms and Conditions questions correctly and click 'submit'.

Step 7- You will now be navigated to the 'My Deliveries' menu which displays all the Deliveries you have signed up &/or previously completed. Your Current Deliveries should be displayed at the top of the page.

If you wish to sign up for further Deliveries please completed steps 2- 6.

When you select the Delivery in Volunteer Me to deliver to you will see the quantity and type of product the charity has requested, the location of the charity and contact details for the charity.

Please see the example below:

Once you have allocated yourself to a charity delivery please do the following prior to attending their site:

  1. Contact the charity prior to attending to arrange a date, time and confirm the delivery address
  2. Confirm their order and what you will be delivering

On the day when you do the drop off don't forget to:

  • Ask for a photo and ask if they have any stories to share with us on how their donations help their charity
  • Share your photo and story on the drive “Photos and Stories” Workplace page (unless otherwise directed)
  • Always ask for permission to share a photo and check that people are ok to use for internal and external social media, and note that permission has been given in the caption when sharing.

Please make sure that you are not approaching or making a delivery to a charity that you are not allocated to do so in Volunteer Me.

Please do not perform a Delivery that has another volunteer allocated without first checking with that volunteer or without being asked to do so by your State's Charity Partner Lead. By not following the correct Delivery allocation process it can cause confusion & frustration. All volunteers time is valuable so please be considerate of your fellow volunteers.

Only the person allocated to an activity can remove themselves from the activity. If you are unable to perform an activity you have selected or have swapped with another volunteer, please log into Volunteer Me to remove your name from that activity.

Please do not select multiple Charity Deliveries requests if you do not have, on hand, the quantity of the requested products. You can perform partial deliveries. Please click this link for the process instructions - https://sharethedignity.workplace.com/work/knowledge/3450941361881225
